As a key part of the Pace Group’s conference division, Robyn’s enthusiasm and positive approach help make every project she works on a success.
Robyn is currently working with the Ministry of Transportation to organize the 2009 British Columbia International Open Skies Summit. The Summit is an international gathering of government , business and aviation industry leaders from Canada and around the world, to explore issues and opportunities related to Open Skies. She is also organizing the logistics of the Business Council of British Columbia’s summit series: Outlook 2020 Shaping B.C.’s Economic Future. This four-part series runs from June to November of 2009.
In 2008, Robyn planned, organized and coordinated the province-wide Mother Daughter Breakfast Tour as well as the TELUS Tour for the Cure on behalf of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, BC/Yukon Region. Each project involved dozens of special events, which brought the important messages of breast cancer awareness, prevention and treatment to schools and the general public in communities across BC.
Robyn is a graduate of Simon Fraser University’s Communication and Political Science programs where she focused on information technology, media studies and Canadian politics.
Prior to joining the Pace Group, Robyn spent four years with the BC Cancer Foundation. As a key contributor to the Foundation’s Marketing & Communications and Special Events Departments, Robyn developed a Youth in Philanthropy program, worked to combine e-philanthropy with special events, and performed general event and media event organization and management.
